29th Science Club Management Committee Co-opting Phase

Hi all!

The 29th NUS Students’ Science Club Management Committee is opening up 8 positions for co-opting from 10th September 2009, Wednesday to 12th September 2009, Friday.

The positions are as follows:

Assistant General Secretary

·  To assist the Honorary General Secretary.

·  To be the Coordinator of Student Ambassadors.

·  To be the Secretary of the Academic Disciplines’ Co-ordinating Committee.

·  To be in charge of the maintenance of the Science Club Storeroom and Activity Room.

·  To be responsible for the writing of minutes during meetings and the minutes’ subsequent publishing.

·  To maintain the first aid kits.

 

Publicity Director

·  To be the chairperson of the Publicity Committee.

· To co-ordinate the sending out of e-mails to Science students.

· To regulate and co-ordinate all Science Club’s publicity efforts.

·  To maintain the Science Club Webpage.

·  To be in charge of all Science Club’s notice boards.

·  To maintain the Publicity Committee’s inventory.

·  To be in charge of archiving all Science Club’s printed publicity materials.

·  To regulate the use of printing facilities at Science Dean’s Office.

·  To act as an advisor to all Publicity Heads in respective committees.

  

Video and Photography (VAP) Director

·  To be the chairperson of the Video and Photography (VAP) Committee.

·  To regulate and coordinate all Video and Photography efforts.

·  To be in charge of archiving all Science Club’s photographs and videos.

·  To maintain the Video and Photography’s inventory of Science Club.

·  To act as an advisor to all VAP Heads in respective committees.

 

Dinner and Dance Director

·  To be the chairperson of the Dinner and Dance Committee.

·  To organise Dinner and Dance with the objective of appreciation.

·  To co-ordinate Pageant and Manhunt and/or Pageant and Manhunt Preview Bash.

 

<space> Director

·  To be the chairperson of the <space> Committee

·  To oversee the booking and usage of <space>.

·  To oversee maintenance and development of <space>

·  To coordinate enrichment programmes for the Students’ of Science Faculty.

·  To take charge of the <space> inventory list.

·  To assist in the management of Students’ Hub.

Business Manager

To be the chairperson of the Business Committee.

To regulate and co-ordinate all marketing and merchandising efforts.

To canvass for sponsors for any event undertaken by the Club.

To look out for potential sponsors and establish short and long term contracts.

To promote the club’s image and marketing stratagem to the sponsors in a coherent manner.

To organise Interaction Week bazaar during the first or second week of first semester.

To act as an advisor to all Marketing Heads in respective committees.

Kudos to Rag comm 08, Flag comm 08, and all the flaggers and raggers who made it possible for the success of Science Rag & Flag 08! What we lost this year… we will get it back next year, if not the year after, or many years to come! Our spirit will not die!
